This educational program marks the transition from art to science in the field of incentive travel. It is facilitated by Fernando Compeán, CMM, CITE, CMP, CIS, CITP, CMS, a leading figure and creator of several of the most prestigious certifications in the global Meetings & Events industry.
Participants in the Diploma in Incentive Travel will explore both core and peripheral knowledge that will enable them to deeply understand participant psychology and motivational drivers.
They will learn how to apply priming techniques to positively influence their audiences, ensuring higher levels of satisfaction and engagement.
By thinking “outside the box” and applying the outskilling methodology, graduates will become significantly more competitive, gaining the ability to plan and deliver extraordinary incentive programs—transforming them into motivational, meaningful, and unforgettable experiences.
The curriculum explores the depths of human perception, empowering participants to master sensory and emotional aspects in the production of incentive trips, using a scientific approach.
The design, planning, and execution of extraordinary experiences require a balance between current trends and enduring fundamentals—both of which are explored in depth.
The renowned WOW! effect is examined to help participants craft the ideal event mix within a smartly designed program—one that evokes elevated and lasting emotions.
No discussion of successful events is complete without addressing Gross Internal Happiness (GIH)—a key indicator that measures whether joy and happiness are fleeting or lasting. This is consciously applied and measured throughout the design of the incentive travel experience.
Since all marketing and sales efforts boil down to a few key moments of persuasion—whether with clients or executives—the program delves into the foundations of persuasive design and the power of language to achieve the highest possible success rate.
In today’s demanding industry, high standards are non-negotiable. Participants will learn how to apply the International Incentive Travel Standards, especially those related to food and beverage service.
The course also explores examples and principles of creative intelligence, a vital ingredient in the architecture of incentive travel programs.
As humans are prone to error, the program also highlights the 50 most common mistakes made in incentive travel operations, offering preventive strategies to avoid them.
At the end of the program, participants will receive:
A Diploma issued by the Meetings & Events Institute and the prestigious Universidad Intercontinental (UIC), The book “Motivational Programs and Incentive Travel” by Fernando Compeán, and The Zigidu Calc, a calculator for international incentive travel standards.
